What Menopause? Self Awareness Part 2

The 3 levels of awareness:

1. Conscious – the quality or state of awareness, being aware within oneself, external object, ability to experience to feel, and being in control of the mind, ” Anything that we are aware of at a given moment forms part of our consciousness, making conscious experience at once the most familiar and most mysterious aspect of our lives.

2. Preconscious – The preconscious contains information that is just below the surface of awareness. It can be retrieved with relative ease and usually can be thought of as memory or recollection.

3. The Unconscious – The unconscious contains thoughts, memories and desires that are buried in ourselves, well below our conscious awareness. Even though we are not aware of their existence, they exert great influence in our behaviour.
